St. Croix Valley Inn is a historic hotel built in 1908 in the river town of Osceola, Wisconsin. The Inn is nestled on a bluff overlooking the St. Croix River only a block from downtown. It was originally a private residence known as the Stoneleigh House built out of 3×3 hand-quarried limestone in hopes it would never burn down. It was converted into a Hotel in the 1980’s and has lodged guests ever since. Stay with us, relax and enjoy our unique Inn and the beautiful nuances of the River.
Everyday we serve a choice of a hot breakfast or gluten-free yogurt parfait, along with fresh coffee and juice. Keurig is available at all times. Breakfast is served on a tray (room service $10) at a time of your choosing between 8:20 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.

The Inn is located in charming Osceola in the St. Croix River Valley on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border less than 40 miles northeast of the major metropolitan area of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Walkable (only 0.2 miles) to downtown Osceola to enjoy the ice cream shop, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, retail and antique stores. The downtown overlooks beautiful Cascade and Geiger waterfalls. You can hike the trail system to the river and around town. The Inn is within 10 miles of St. Croix Falls and Taylors Falls. Both towns have beautiful State Parks with trails along the St. Croix River and each their own downtown areas.
