St. Croix Valley Inn is your destination for unparalleled river views. The Inn is a beautiful, historic building built in 1908, originally a private residence known as the Stoneleigh, constructed with hand-quarried limestone. It was converted to a Hotel in the 1980’s and features seven distinctive guest suites. The Inn is perched on the bluff overlooking the beautiful St. Croix River. We serve a full breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings in our dining room overlooking the river (option for room service for a small fee), featuring some of the inn’s favorite recipes. Monday-Friday mornings we alternate serving between a continental breakfast, or Chef’s Choice (examples include breakfast sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, homemade waffles, or fresh scones).

Our beautiful dining room overlooking the St. Croix River is available for rental as well as our Suites. The Inn is perfect for private events including small Weddings, Bridal or Baby showers, family gatherings or corporate meetings. The entire Inn is also available for rental. The Inn is located in charming Osceola in the St. Croix River Valley on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border less than 40 miles northeast of the major metropolitan area of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Walkable (only 0.2 miles) to downtown Osceola and enjoy the ice cream shop, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, retail and antique stores. The downtown overlooks beautiful Cascade and Geiger waterfalls. You can hike the trail system to the river and around town. The Inn is within 10 miles of St. Croix Falls and Taylors Falls. Both towns have beautiful State Parks with trails along the St. Croix River and each their own downtown areas.
